Even the media disrespects him by not calling him President Obama-half of he time its just Mr. Obama. I feel embarrassed by how he gets regarded as if hes not the Commander In Chief where hes now about to be sued for, Doing his job? (as quoted by President Obama recently) Honestly, after I saw the Tea Party carry a stuffed replica of him with a noose around his neck—its just always kept a bad taste in my mouth about outwardly hate thrown his way. And we do know what kind of hate Im speaking of. Bushs oddities were laughed at, Clinton is still respected though caught in outright scandal and Nixon even got more respect than our current President. President Carter wasnt shy to say outright what he thinks all of this anger towards Obama is about-though people say its other things but Carter said hes from the South and has seen it all his life. Our government and economy was brought to its knees more than once because of refusals to follow his orders or make agreements with President Obama and his party. I really want to think that its NOT at all related to the color of his skin, but has what hes done been THAT bad to be so horribly slandered that our governments bills werent going to be paid where we all suffered and made our debt grow? I know there are many of you who will blast this post with the angst and anger not ever seen before when spoken of ANY other politician, which again tells me a lot right along the same lines of what I mean by this post. No president has served us to meet our needs perfectly, but again, the anger for getting us medical benefits even...something that was done FOR the people...is wildly attacked at an alarming rage. People who havent even found politics to be of interest, suddenly seek to yell...almost as if to aim to silence anyone from saying they actually like President Obama. Well, I really DO like President Obama :) The single act alone of aiming to take on the HUGE task of providing us with medical care alone has me smiling from ear-to-ear that you will all one day appreciate when you need it most. How do I know this, its because Im a medical professional who sees what happens to those with and without benefits. Its a sad reality and I pray that more people wont have to know what its like to not have coverage to help them get back to health. ***I was happy to share this image and my two cents worth to go along with it. Lets hope people can be respectful if and when you want to respond to this post on my personal Timeline. Its not a sounding board for hate.
