Even those who are posting on the Friends of Friendswood PAC page are apparently showing the City is misrepresenting facts. The City says the citizen group recommending bonds was over 80 and the PAC says over 50. Reality is the number of the group dwindled after the first two meetings. Some stopped going because they said that it appeared certain people were trying to direct opinions rather than gather opinions. Now, the question is whether the City can substantiate the numbers it is putting out there. They have a duty to use only accurate facts and that means they have to check the facts. Records have been requested from the City but not provided to date.
