Even though I am away from home, my heart and mind is always with my people... and I am deeply regretting the fact that I am not there to physically witness the WNB Provincial Games presentation which was postponed to tomorrow, 10 am. The best teams and players who competed in the 24 codes including ball games and individual sports will be announced and awarded their medals tomorrow. Please be re-assured that though I am not there physically, you are always on my mind and my heart especially during this exciting times where we see our young generation from all over the Province, come together in unison through Sports. Overall placing will also be announced tomorrow during the presentation. It is also from this game that the Team West New Britain will be selected to represent the Province during the PNG Games in Morobe, come November. I commend all sports men and women, athletes, referees, officials, code coordinators and the organizing committee for a peaceful and successful week-long Sporting Event and for your patience, commitment and endurance in running the games and to see it come to completion. Let us hope the Best of the Best athletes are selected to represent WNB and that we truly unite in the Spirit of the Games to also prepare us for our biggest task ahead which is to play host for our fellow country-men during the 2016 Games.
