Even though I despise the red sox more than anything on this planet...I want to say congrats to my friends (EXcluduing the fair weather variety) who root for them. However...having just thrown up in my mouth...I cannot let this foul taste last forever: ~ I have been alive for 7 YANKEES W.S. Championships (which is 1 shy of bostons total in their history) whereas my friends have only witnessed 3. ~ The red sox would have to win 19 of their next 28 W.S. to equal the BEST TEAM EVER in the History of MLB w/o the YANKEES ever winning any in that same time period. ~ The YANKEES have won 3 W.S. in a row, 4 in a row, 5 in a row & back-to-back 3 times whereas the red sox won back to back W.S. just once. ~ Enjoy it while it lasts and good luck red sox nation because you will NEVER be the team that the YANKEES are...well at least not in my lifetime!!!!!!!!!! ~ Lastly...these are all FACTS which cannot be taken away so if you want to waste time bashing me...be my guest.
