Even though I never made railroading my career Jeff steered me in the right direction in my career. He had picked me up in Boyertown when they where doing work on the Perk and was going to drop me off at Leesport for the weekend. I was telling him about Vo-Tech and how I thought I wanted to do residential electric. He turned and looked at me and said you dont want to do that sh$t! Get yourself into industrial work. Low and behold its my craft now and when I make the control wiring nice and neat I know who influenced that! Its nice to see how many generations he has influenced. I think we all had swearing,drinking, and smoking cigars refined by him! He set the bar for what a railroader should be and I am glad to have known this. The Seidelisms and stories will live on for years. Glad I got to experience it and like many am saddened by his loss.
