Even though a Large Denominations in Fort Smith has chosen to call those of us who believe in the Word of Faith by name in a derogatory way, I will refrain from mentioning their particular denomination. They will, however, be having a conference, speaking against their fellow Christians who believe in the Word of Faith and Prosperity message. Here are just a few verses to hopefully counter what they will be teaching. First, the Apostle Paul said, The Word of Faith which we preach (Rom 10:8). Concerning their attack on the message of prosperity why not read the following BIBLE SCRIPTURES and base your belief on the Bible? Let me start by saying, in Gen. God created the gold and the silver and He did not create it for the devil and his bunch. Let’s start with a few Old Testament scriptures: Genesis 13:2 King James Version (KJV) And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold. (APPROX. $1.5 BILLION) AND THIS WAS JUST HIS OFFERING AND LET’S NOT FORGET HIS SON SOLOMON WHO WAS THE RICHEST MAN THAT EVER LIVED. HERE IS ANOTHER VERSE Deuteronomy 8:18 King James Version (KJV) But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. Psalm 35:27 King James Version (KJV) Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant I WOULD HAVE TO WRITE A BOOK TO SHOW ALL OF THE SCRIPTURES THAT SAYS GOD IS FOR PROSPERTIY. NEEDLESS TO SAY THIS PARTICULAR DENOMINATION WOULD NOT ALLOW ANY OF THESE ABOVE MENTIONED SAINTS IN THEIR PULPITS. IF YOU FIND YOURSELF IN THAT SERVICE, LISTENING TO THIS FALSE TEACHING, PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THEY ASK YOU TO PUT MONEY IN THEIR OFFERING (To pay for their multie million dollar building) BEFORE OR AFTER THEY LAMBASTE THE PROSPERITY MESSAGE. AND IF YOU BELIEVE THEIR NONSENSE THEN PLEASE SEND ME YOUR WEALTH, I COULD USE IT TO SPREAD THE GOSPEL INSTEAD OF ATTACKING MY BROTHER AND SISTERS IN CHRIST. FOR THOSE WHO WOULD TRY TO CONVINCE YOU THAT JESUS IS TALKING ABOUT SPIRITUAL PROSPERITY, I WOULD CHALLENGE YOU TO OPEN YOUR BIBLE AND READ THE ENTIRE CHAPTER AND YOU WILL FIND THAT IT’S ALL ABOUT MONEY!
