Even though he recently premiered Kidnapped For Christ, a documentary he executive produced, Lance Bass isn’t forgetting his music roots. The 34-year-old entertainer just released his first song in 12 years. ;) “For the last two years I’ve been listening to demos, just trying to figure out if I want to get back in the studio,” Bass tells E! Online. “I hadn’t heard anything that resonated with me. But a couple of months ago, a track from Anise K landed in my lap from a friend of mine and he was like, ‘I think this will be your first song.” “Walking On Air” is the brainchild of Australian producer-songwriter Anise K. It’s a musical project that features artists from around the world recording a different version of the song. In Australia, a version featuring Anise K, Bella Blue and Snoop Dogg has already been released. In Belgium, local artist Ian Thomas released his own version. Now it’s Bass’ turn. “Lance is the featured artist on the entire project the for rest the world, and he will be spearheading it. We are incredible honored that he chose this project and concept to be his first solo release,” said singer-producer Anise K. “Lance Bass was so talented and incredible to work with, I can’t wait for the public to hear him like they have never heard him before.”
