Even though im not a vet i will never forget either being rased by a vet having ben brought up around vets and having sat at a table with vets for many years. Personally i wanted to join armed services but being only child father would not let me. plus he would kick recruters off porch when i was in highschool in early 80s because of his feelings about Viet Nam and how the vets got the shaft. My dad served in French Indochina in early 50s helping French under guidence of CIA and his paperwork was made right in early 80s when info was declassified and truth was able to come out. Witch to him was we could have never had to fight in a conflict like Viet Nam had we better helped French TCB in early 50s.
