Even though it has taken 10 months of consistent walking I have slowly lowered my weight. Down 26 lbs as of today! Because I have chronic pain issues I was feeling really frustrated with my progress. I wanted to do the same thing I have always done with exercise. I wanted to work out hard to the point of extreme pain and exhaustion. I wanted quick results! But I found that every time I overdid it I would be unable to move for a week or two setting me back pretty much to the beginning every time. I finally realized that I would have to contain my impatience and just be consistent. Today I am not exactly where I want to be, but I am closer to my goal than I was. My point is no matter how hard you think exercise is if you will just put on your shoes and walk out the door you will see results and you will feel better! J.R.R.
