Even though its been years since I have seen the documentary What The Bleep Do We Know? This attached scene has been constantly going through my head the last couple of years. This example explains our blindness, to me. Some truths are literally in our face. it is so real, so obvious yet we cannot see. Because it is in direct conflict with our conditioning since the day we were born, so our already wired brains cannot accept or even recognize what is directly in front of us. It is not even a recognizable possibility. Which is why there is so much resistance and hostility towards other versions of reality. And when people starting seeing through the veil of our reality, questioning all that currently is (or seemingly) a dramatic paradigm shift starts to happen to the individual personally. The most unfortunate setback though, is these persons are many times labeled either crazy, liars, wrong, conspiracy theorists (which was termed by the CIA many moons ago lets not forget to purposfully cause dissention), hippies, non realists, dreamers, the list goes on. The Matrix is a system, Neo. But when youre inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that system. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it. ........The Matrix is everywhere. It is all around us. Even now, in this very room. You can see it when you look out your window or when you turn on your television. You can feel it when you go to work... when you go to church... when you pay your taxes. It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth. That you are a slave, Neo. Like everyone else you were born into bondage.
