Even though my town made the top ten list for the poorest in the nation, I will not be bowed. Yes, life can be difficult, but only if you choose it to be that way. Live within your means, fix what breaks and love your family. No matter how tough things can get, if you do these three simple things, you will not only survive, you will thrive. If the Congress and Senate could live like my family does for one month, I think the country as a whole would be better off. I may not have the power of a Congressman or Senator, but I do have intellect, knowledge and the power to vote. All it takes is the power of one person to start a revolution, and with that revolution comes resolution. So this is my request to the powers that be, come down out of your ivory towers, live amongst the commoners for a month, learn what it is like to be a mere mortal, and expand your minds, not your waistlines. Get past your petty party lines and get this country moving in the right direction again.
