Even though the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) or pork barrel is not going to be included in next years proposed budget, Representative Terry Ridon of the Kabataan party-list said there is a need to advance the peoples initiative and abolish other forms of pork that are hidden. In a forum organized by the Political Science Department of Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan on Saturday, in coordination with Youth Act Now (YAN) and the Abolish Pork Movement (APM), Ridon discussed what pork is all about, how it is today and the importance of the peoples initiative.
