Even though there could be more animated films on Criterion. Speaking of Animation, Criterion should get the rights for Don Hertzfeldts feature length film Its Such a Beautiful Day. it is a triolgy of animated shorts about a man named Bill whose daily routines, perceptions, and dreams are illustrated onscreen (via multiple split-screen windows). The Story is actully told in Hertzfeldts signature stick figure drawings, But the whole triolgy itself is actully a very emotional cinematic experience for me, and it is also a very good artistic character study on Bills own character told in a rather narrative and darkly artistic way, it is unlike his earlier short works like Rejected (which is Hertzfeldts most reconizable work and funniest) but the Bill Triolgy is actually Hertzfeldts most ambitious, daring ,philosopical, and his most dramatic work yet. it is beatufully crafted and well written and should get its own Criterion treatment. if anybody is curious about Hertzfeldts own Bill Trilogy check the First Chapter of his film right here. https://youtube/watch?v=1IUX0Qy-IDM
