Even though there were six orders going out this weekend, I still managed to squeeze in a course at Klara Johnsons School of Cake Decorating (facebook/klarajohnsons). Had two super fantastic days full of instruction, tips and tricks taught from none other than world renowned chef and sugar artist Nicholas Lodge (nicholaslodge)....see our class on facebook at https://facebook/pages/Chef-Nicholas-Lodge/97934495366. It was definitely two of the most enjoyable days of learning the art of cake decorating that I have had so far! Not only did we learn Nicholas Lodges take on the Tiffany box cake, but also his designs for cake pops, lollipops and decorated cookies!! My only regret is that I did not enrol in his three day flower class that was booked for the first part of the week... :( .... but I will definitely be there next time he is in town!!!
