Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; - TopicsExpress

Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. (NIV) Isaiah 40:30-31 It is pretty cool that when we rely on the Lord for assurance or comfort or strength, things just come together. It seems like there are no problems when we look to our Heavenly Father for something. That is because he is always there, he never leaves us or forsakes us and he will NEVER gives us things that we cannot do. Whenever I read the Bible (doesn’t matter if I am doing a devotional or just a casual read) it is so peaceful because God is of not of this world (which is vile and disturbing) and there are SO many promises in the Holy Scriptures that show us that God is always faithful and just and he will never leave us. There might be a time that when God just TOOK OVER your life and your MIND, you feel free (absolutely free) and feel like flying. Here is a question for you, Have you ever dreamed you could fly? That is God’s dream for you because he wants you to realize that you are going to be fine in this temperate life, but you have to learn to be patient and learn every single what he has for you. Up to this point in your life, has God ever failed you? Sure we have problems and such, but everyone has that; no one is perfect. People might say to you that things are AMAZING in their life but honestly a life apart from what GOD wants you to do is NOT AMAZING because that is from YOUR perspective. Think about it, you can say that your life is amazing RIGHT NOW and then all of a sudden things can start to falter in a split second. You can do and feel 100 times better in your life when your devotion is to him. You will not be drained or weakened or devoured in this shortened life. Walking with the Lord is the best option for your life because that is TRUE freedom. So ask yourself this question, when was the last time you felt like flying? C.
