Evening All. Do you know a really great way to learn more about photography is to start to look at images and break them down into their components. A bit like you would if you were judging them for a competition. You look at an image and think Oh I like that or HMM thats ordinary. But why??????? What is it about an image that you do or dont like? Can you break it down into specific points? Lighting, composition, colour, depth, does it have wow factor and if so, what is it? Is it cropped to close? Is it not sharp where it needs to be? does something annoy you about the composition? When you really look closely, and you can think about what it actually is that does or does not appeal to you, then you start to become more aware of what makes a great image and what doesnt. You can then start to apply those lessons to your own photography. :-D So, what is it that you do or dont like about these images. They are both the same, just one colour and one B&W. Tell me what you do or dont like about them. Honestly! (Im looking for details people. Get nitty gritty)
