Evening. As this day comes to a close, I realize once again how blessed I am. I also realize how short life is. Today marks 4 months that my mother has passed away. Seems like seconds ago still today. I miss her so much. I baked a ham last night and as I was taking it out of the oven this morning I remembered mother promising me that she was going to cook me ham, biscuits and red eye gravy for dinner one day. It is one of my favorite meals. But she never got to. Really hit me hard today that I will never taste her red eye gravy again. I say that to say this: never take a day for granted. Dont put off tomorrow what you can do today. Life is short. Live each day to the fullest! Kiss your loved ones, remember the needy and say your prayers. Blessed thankful and always praying.
