Evening all! Today I posted off the stoats and two baby weasuses for Valentines sekrits and two mugs. I go in phases of making things and leaving them to look at and fiddle about with to make right and sometimes they pile up and I really need to be organised and just finish them all off before getting all excited about what is next on my list! So, I made myself a new pad to work on as my old one is getting a bit bent and too small for big things as it shrinks over time and I wanted to try out some hessian to see if it worked, so i did that and then I finished off everyone that was mucking about here waiting for their final tweaks and tails and such like. I finished off a weasel and a stoat that are going to live together with a white one too not yet made. And I finished the snail and the ducks feet and the tapirs toes and two tails on two baby weasuses and finished a brooch too. Hurrah! I started someone else Ill show you tomorrow that might make you squee a bit. We were at a most marvellous number tonight of 1849 but as I am typing, it has gone down to 1848 so wed best celebrate her instead! Shes a caring number. Very even tempered and not odd at all. She wishes for world peace and wants to rescue orphaned ptarmigans when she leaves number college. She is modelling the swim wear round tonight with a bikini made entirely out of Matchmakers! Shes a daring one I can tell you! Lets hear a big round of applause for the gawjuss 1848 and you know that means we are getting quite close to a really big exciting number! Well, two actually... 1898 and 2002. Well have to have a bit of a celebration then I think. Bernard St Bernard is trotting along past me now with his drinks trolley and his sweet trolley and hes lit the stove in his barrel if anyone wants a light snack too. Just put your orders in. And actually, you know I only came on to tell you that when I went to the post office today, the nice post office man always asks what is in the parcel so I told him, two baby weasels and two stoats with wings. Do you know how to tell the difference? he says... and then carried on telling the other people the joke was er-mine etc. Get in!! A postman with my fave jokes... actually hes not a postman, hes the man who gives you the stamps and stuff, what do you call them? Hmmm.... and I said he had to have one of my calendars as that has a stoat ermine joke on it too. I got the almost final proofs through today. I may have run around the room a bit making funny noises. Its a bit lot fab. Heres a screen shot of the cover of the calendar and one of these two is a stoat and one a weasel sat on my new work pad. Can you weaselly tell them apart? They are stoatally different you know.... Chin chin my dears, Im having a cuppa with the snail.
