Evening post - Day 140. Stone has felt well today .. He has laughed and smiled a lot.. He Stood up pretty good today . Amy and I got him up in a crawl position a few times today . Three weeks ago when the therapist would do this he was in horrible pain. Today he just grunted one time and looked up at me and smiled . He tried really hard in speech. We had a new therapist and Stone really liked her and that helped . As I write this, We have a really big window in our room looking due west. This is something weve needed for a long time. Lord I miss seeing the sun set. Today it reminds me of that view from our back porch and I wonder what it might look like this very minute. In my thoughts, if I listen real hard I can hear Stone, Ryder and Cohen riding their bikes in the back yard and I can smell the fish that was caught from our lake cooking in the grease while I would be getting ready to watch the game on TV. These thoughts hard to deal with sometimes. But we know they will be a reality soon enough . I thank God tonight again for that opportunity and pray that Im making the best of it . To whom much is given much is expected ! Ive always realized this but now its clearer than ever before . Hope everyone has a good evening . We sure plan too!! Train rolling on.
