Evening post - Day 153. The Train charged forward today . I got back to the hospital in the middle of speech with a big smile and thumbs up from the therapist . Then on to o/t and then p/t . As I said last night they have him back where they want him now . We really lost the last 10 days of rehab in Texas with the changes we had to endure from PCU to rehab and then few more days getting back going here but alls well now. I keep saying it but the day is coming here very soon when I say Stone is walking on his own . Today they had him in a device that just gives him support doesnt hold him up, but he did really well . I want say that he was running but I will call it a fast walk . In Dialysis this afternoon and its going well. We have just a few minutes left as I write this . The renal team is being proactive and moving his dry weight along with his overall weight gain . Rather than drying him out first and then moving. I appreciate that and it helps control my blood pressure . Stone had a good visit in between all this action from his cousins Jessi & Allison . It was good to see them together. My day has been full of meetings with different people involved with Stones care. Just trying to make it better and better for him and its working . Something really exciting is that we were given a day pass for Thanksgiving day to take him home. We have to leave the hospital and be back on same day but we are excited about that day. It will be the first time since this child first got sick back on June 21, that we are all back together and we will all have so much more to be thankful for . Thank you Lord! Amy went home to be with the kids and her family tonight as they prepare to say goodbye to Mr Dewey tomorrow . I think were to the point where Im only going to be able to give an end of The day report. With our schedule here and being back at home a few days a week and getting back into our business time, my life is going to be filling up as we are looking at the light at the end of the tunnel. It is getting to be a real factor . I thank you all for your continued love, support and prayers. No way could we have done this without all of yall.
