Evening post - day 151. Stone had a good day . He did really well in his rehab sessions. . One of the new doctors came in the middle of speech and replies he sure is a happy little kid . Allyson, our therapist. said hes the happiest kid in this hospital . Despite it all Stone smiles everyday . He may be hurting or sick but he smiles so how can I not smile . Thank you Lord, is all I could think about. I came back home this afternoon to be with the kids a little and to stick my nose back in business . As I am writing this, this afternoon, that sunset that Ive missed so much is to my right and a good warm fire to my left and two of my children playing in front of me. And Stone is doing well. Ive spoke of prayers answered many times over the last 151 days . Tonight its the same. No, it didnt happen like I wanted when I wanted but its happening . I dont know Gods plan here, Im just riding the train . Trusting and knowing that good will come from this thing that seems like such a nightmare. As I think back on the day, I am seeing the look on Stones face, as hes up on all fours crawling across the floor looking down at the mat under him. He looks to the side and smiles so big like look at me daddy! Thank you Lord again is all I can say. Train rolls on !!
