Evening post day 106. Stones day has been much better than yesterday so thank you lord . No dialysis today . numbers werent bad . Hes still got little more cough than wed like but think its getting better. He is touching different body parts on command . And sitting up really well. One of the doctors that weve come to respect here ask Amy and I what our plans were here in Texas . Would we get him to a certain point then go back home to finish his recovery . Or was we planning to move to Houston until Stone was well. What did we want to do . This thought has never crossed our minds we replied . As with every phase of stones recovery from the time we were on ecmo until now . We have only ask god to open the next door. After walking through that door we will work on next door . We only want or will accept the best possible care for Stone. So we will stay the course , stick to what got us this far. And as dr Rodgers might say stay out of gods way. This is very different line of thinking for me I like plans and details and knowing with some certainty where Im going and what Im doing . Tonight trust and believe is driving the train .
