Evening session Day 8 with Louisa. Oh yes we did!!! A 2.5 mile trail ride on the lowlands (Aces Alley) with Sadye as her guide. She still needs lots of ground work to strengthen her back, but this was a good test. Just as I do with many of my trainees, I sat light in the saddle (Can you do a 30 minute squat?.... The things you learn to do for a horse!!) and helped Louisa balance herself with every step she took. She had a blast!! Long lines tomorrow!
