Evening ya beautiful Facebookers! Didnt have space to spare on my phone so never bothered with videos of my sessions last week, cleared some space so todays session went like this: Lower body max effort day: 2rm cambered bar + chains squat: built up to 165kg total 129kg weight + 36kg in chains. My 1rm is 162.5kg on a olympic bar so hopefully this will transfer onto it. Surprisingly the weight didnt trouble me just the awkward bar and chains moving around. Front squats Glute ham raise: had to do 30 of these and I cant even do one :| so I tend to use a band to assist me. As I find the exercise getting easier with a band I just move on to a lighter band to increase the difficulty. Trying my best to make sure I dont break at the hips and that my body moves as one from knees to shoulders under control. Lateral box step ups Ice cream makers: basically a neutral grip pull up into a front lever, like the glute ham raise you try to keep your body completely straight this time from shoulders to toes. Had to do 50 of these things, as you can see got ugly towards the end :D Weighted planks Circuit (finisher) 12-9-6-3 115kg deadlifts 24 box jump overs Finished in 3:24 definitely could have gone faster in this. Alot of hamstring/glute work, especially with the cambered bar squat, ghr, icecream makers and deadlifts at the end. DONE!! #dowork #bedtime #gonnasleeplikeababy
