Evening ya beautiful lot! Usually do my own thing with training but decided to get the strengthy Steph and Nisha to help me out with my programming. Did this for a few reasons: 1. I dont know everything so I feel its good to learn from fellow trainers and bounce ideas off each other. Especially guys as competitive as Steph and Nisha. 2. The programming addresses my weaknesses so it puts me out of my comfort zone. WAY OUT of my comfort zone! 3. The more I learn the more knowledge I can pass on to the lovely folk who train with me. Heres some bits of my session yesterday, lower body max effort day. Heavy cambered bar squats, overhead squats, heavy deadlifts, snatch grip deadlifts, reverse hypers (by which point my hamstrings and ass were fried!) decline weighted sit ups and a finisher of sled drags and kettlebell swings. I had nothing left by then! Alot of prosterior chain work, hamstrings (back of legs), traps (top of back/neck), glutes (bum) are all horribly sore today. Think itll be worse tomorrow! Today was power snatches, push presses, close grip bench press, weighted pull ups (strict-cause we Crossfitters dont just kip) bent over rows, straight arm pulldowns, weighted planks and side bends. Laugh at my pain! ENJOY! :D :D #dowork #somuchsadness
