Event Number 2: The Meat Pack This event is simulating hauling meat from the kill site to the vehicle. Competitors will haul sandbags from the starting point, through a 1/4 course to the drop zone. -The sandbags will be divided into various weights. (See below) -At the start of the race the competitors will quickly pack their first loads and move out. The drop zone will be near the starting point, but competitors that have more weight to move will need to back track the course to get back to the starting point. -Time will stop when all the weight and competitor, or both competitors, in the team competition, are in the drop zone. Mens weight: 200 pounds Two 50 pound bags-four 25 pound bags Womens weight: 120 pounds Four 25 pound bags-two 10 pound bags Mens Masters weight: 165 pounds Two 50 pound bags-one 25 pound bag-four ten pound bags Womens Masters: 90 Two 25 pound bags-four 10 pound bags Mens hunting Teams: 300 Four 50 pound bags-four 25 pound bags Womens Hunting Teams: 200 Six 25 pound bags-five 10 pound bags Co-Ed Hunting Teams: 250 Two 50 pound bags-four 25 pound bags-five ten pound bags Competitors must move the weight from starting line to the drop zone. Competitors can use any pack to carry weight. Competitors are allowed to carry the weight in arms. Competitors that divide the pack into more than one trips must back track from the drop zone to the starting point to pick up more weight. -Other event details and videos will be released shortly.
