Eventful day ahead....Taking Christmas gifts to my office staff (love watching their faces when they open them), then dressing up as Santa for the primary grades at Williamsburg school (cant wait Im so excited!) People often ask what my favorite time of the year is and I usually say football season...but I think I may have fibbed...I love Christmas! I love giving....I love getting the Salvation Army ringer to give me a turn ringing his bell and watching the smile it brings to his face...I love acting goofy and getting children to giggle....Mostly though...I love celebrating these brief moments of life Christ has granted me here on this earth. I invite you to celebrate today...Celebrate....Laugh like its the last time you ever will...forgive someone youve been holding a grudge against...forgive yourself, heck God already has...Love as if your next breath depends on it.....and most of all...be Jesus to someone today! In the words of the old Pointer Sisters song...Im so excited and I just cant hide it..Im about to lose control and I think I like it!!! Lord Jesus, let me lose control today...Let me lose control and give it all to you. Let me touch a life in misery with a smile and a laugh...let me touch a life in need with the gift of time and understanding...mostly Lord, let the love I know through you be infectious and irresistible to all I encounter! Thank you for this season, May my life honor Your birth...Hallelujah and Amen!! Shew...Lord many more mornings like this with You, theyll come wanting me to turn in my Baptist card!!! LOL!!
