A Honda Element went through a red light at ~50 mph, hit a Hyundai Elantra sedan making a protected left on a green arrow, Watched it Launch, Fly, Barrel Roll, and come to a stop on its side on a steel pole that holds the traffic light up. If not for the pole it would have continued to roll for a while given the impact speed… The two high school kits climbed out the windshield with smoke pouring out the tailpipe and the engine running…. Amazing nobody was killed. Think about that the next time you approach a light turning red…
