Events #Time2Serve MANDELA WEEK 14TH – 18TH JULY 2014 CELEBRATIONS HIV/AIDS Unit Activities Living the Legacy of Nelson Mandela Acts of Kindness: Coffee Bar The HIV and AIDS Programme invite you to commemorate the Legacy of Nelson Mandela by getting involved in “Acts of Kindness” activities hosted by various departments on campus. “Acts of Kindness” are not restricted to the campus community or its environment. We encourage you to get involved in your family life and in your communities, living the Legacy of Nelson Mandela through these “Acts of Kindness”. The HIV and AIDS Programme will be hosting a Coffee Bar on Main Campus, between the Library and Student Centre, on the mornings of the 16th and 17th July 2014, from 08h30am to 10h30am. We encourage you to visit the Coffee Bar and surprise someone with an “Act of Kindness”, take a picture and post it on HIV and AIDS Programme, University of the Western Cape, our Programme Facebook page. We are also interested in knowing about other “Acts of Kindness” or relating your experience in Living the Legacy of #NelsonMandela. These can be in multi-media format, for example of a video montage, a poem, an essay, lyrics to a song, an art piece, digital stories etc., any format that best communicates how you are living the Legacy of Nelson #Mandela.
