Events in Sydney and now in Pakistan, the attacks and murder has been sickening. In the school in Pakistan, we once again saw that radical Islam has no hesitation in slaughtering other Muslims, in fact this is their default target. Many Muslims, who for extremists are not the right kind of Muslims find themselves in the firing line. But in the aftermath of Sydney and beyond the global trends of terrorism, at a time like this we need to worry less about being called Islamaphobic and more about the victims of terror and their families who have suffered irreparable damage. How many more people have to suffer before we say no more. As easy as it is, we must never be motivated by hatred, anger and bigotry. We must never allow the hatred and poison directed at us to define us and our way of life. We must stand up to the monster but not become up it, because if we allow the same hatred and poison to infect us than they have already claimed a victory. We stand up, because it is right, it is moral and because we stand up for Liberty, freedom and mutual acceptance. We stand up so we dont have to look back in 20 years and regret our silence, and what our children have to live with, we stand up because hatred and evil can never be allowed to win, too many good men and women have layed down their lives to stop the advance of evil, lets not allow their sacrifices to be on vain on our watch
