Eventually some people are going to throw you into confusion and try to pervert the gospel of Christ (Galatians 1:7) When we are having issues with faith, its easy for us to be confused without recognizing the confusion. Paul writes in Galatians 1:8 but even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under Gods curse Also check this scripture out. Dear friends, do not believe every spirit but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. (1 John 4:1) Sometimes Christians and non-Christians like to tweak the truth in order to make it more spiritual, instead it becomes a lie. A lot of the times Satan himself tries to trick us to place more trust in to church leaders, best-selling books, or even a friend who shares another gospel with us. When in reality, we need to place all our hope and trust in The Lord If youre ever unsure of the truth, ask those around you who truly know scripture. Pray for wisdom. Ask the spirit to guard your faith and lead you into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, who came to give you an abundant and eternal life.
