Ever Want to Try Encaustic Painting? One Day Introductory Workshop in Encaustic Painting offered by Susan Clarke-Ort/Artist Educator When: Saturday, May 3rd , 2014 Where: Artists Association of Northern Colorado 148 W. Oak Street Fort Collins, CO Suite C Workshop will begin at 9 a.m. ending at 3:30 p.m. Limited to 6 participants. Cost is $150.00 All materials and supplies included (yes!) You will have use of individual hot plates, wax medium, brushes, and substrates (painting surfaces). Half hour lunch on your own: Suggest brown bag, some take out available close by. Happy hour next door at Fish Restaurant for those interested afterwards. This one day intensive workshop is designed for anyone who wants to explore this ancient painting technique using beeswax, heat, brushes, tools, color, texture and play! You will end the day with up to four painted creations on panels ready for hanging. Bragging rights included.
