Ever changing moods!! What a challenging day..highs and lows..!! I knew a day like this was coming.. Reflected in and influenced by..how often does the weather has its say!! Knowing youre there, on this venture with us, do I push on.. A buoyant start, I was looking forward to today..had no idea it would be the slog it turned out to be.. The sun was out and fabulous responses from the public as we set off..I was smiling, feeling great and counting my blessings.. And into the mountains..and it got darker and colder..and you know what its like, things then just start going against you..becomes difficult, the natural flow exchanged for pushing that proverbial boulder up the hill..the little things that mount up.. A visit INTO the caravan by a blue tit at coffee time was uplifting, chirping merrily away!! Moreover, today I wished for company, in a warm Land Rover... My glum mood turned into frustration..I knew I should have stopped at 4pm..all the signs were there..!! Everything telling me to stop for the day!! Stubborn old me, I know best..not!! On we went, hugging the coastline..and the wind got up..and now in a rocking caravan!! So cold, so windy, so dark, and mile after mile, no layby..until now, a stormy night, and a huge dollop of miles done..about 100 today..good old Annie, never missed a beat!! Just outside Storslett..and I am now on the SAME page in my map book as Nordkapp!! Feeling much better now, soup reaching out!! And a snoring Amber!! I just wonder how much beautiful scenery Ive missed by trundling on in the dark, getting here
