Ever consider that those things you experience are actually experienced for the sake of others? What if you go into circumstances ahead of those you lead in the future? Psalm 105 says that God sent Joseph down into Egypt. It was not Josephs jealous brothers who did this....somehow God used Josephs bad brothers. He "sent a man before them!" Maybe you go down into circumstances now that others go down into later. Because of your experience you are able to lead them when they get into Egypt. This is pretty much what Paul said. He saw his afflictions as having a larger purpose not necessarily connected to him...but to those to whom he was sent! "so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God." 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 A truly prophetic person is one that goes into things before others. You experience "times and seasons" out of rhythm with those around you. But in this Kingdom where the highest ranking sovereign washes the feet of His servants, you might expect that the way up is DOWN, and the way forward is sometimes BACKWARD...but like the bow, you only go thru a contradiction so far before---THWAK! Your arrow is fired and you hit the mark of the High Call of God. On time!
