Ever had any questions about making a group sound in an ensemble? Ever thoughts about what The Kings Singers do to try to make their distinct and consistent with the sound theyve made for the last 46 years? Well, now you have to ask the group questions directly. Were hosting our next Google Hangout this Thursday from Erba, Italy at 10:00 Italian time (thats 9:00 GMT). The Hangout is called Creating a Group Sound, and Chris G and Tim will be in the hotseat, try to answer your questions. If you have any questions, please either post it in the comments below, or tweet it to our twitter handle @kingssingers. In case the hangout is a bit too early for you to make it (especially you guys in the US), itll be recorded straight to YouTube, so youll have the chance to watch it in your own time. Well post the link to the live Hangout both here on Facebook and on Twitter, so youll know exactly where to look for it. Some initial questions we thought of were: - What do we mean by creating a group sound? - How do we go about creating The King’s Singers sound”, and what’s particular about it? - What factors can influence your group sound? - Is one group sound right for kinds of repertoire? Were sure the questions you have are better. So send them over to us, and we hope to hear from you by Thursday morning, or during the Hangout itself. You can find all this information and more on our website here: kingssingers/google-hangout-thursday-13-november-2014-1000-gmt1/ Happy thinking!
