Ever have one of those days where the clock seems to be stuck in molasses? A day where time seems to stand still. A day where nothing gets accomplished although so many things are on the to do list. I have had one of those days today. I have looked at the clock over and over and time is standing still. Tomorrow is the first day of school for my kids. The first day since summer break. Tomorrow I will be alone for the first time in many weeks. Tomorrow will begin a new chapter in our lives. Maggie will be driving after only having her license for a few weeks; JohnRobert will not have the same angelic homeroom teacher that he had last year. Last year I think my mind was still numb. We had just buried Tessa. We had moved. Johnrobert changed schools from elementary school to middle school. Maggie would be going back after being home for months as she couldnt return after we lost Tessa. So many things were happening all at one time, so many things. Tomorrow will be a new adventure for our family. Although I knew this day was on the calendar; it doesnt make it any easier. If you are able--take your kids to school. The conversations held in our vehicles, the endless singing and even dancing...I wouldnt trade anything for those memories. If you are able--take a photo of your kids on their first day of school. Let them know you are there for them. Remind them you love them. If you are able--Hug them before they leave. There are no guarantees. Hug em, Love em and Pray for em I will try to post a photo tomorrow of my 2...... Godbless yall Tessas Troopers hang Tuff Like Tessa
