Ever heard of dracula mentality? In ancient times dracula fed on blood. Their way was to demand the same for protection of some sort . You were safe for as long as you fed them on blood. The problem was, everyday they demanded a pint or two more than the previous day. It was always some uneasy coexistence if not symbiotic for as long as you provided blood. As the arrangement would have it, any less blood would set off death sentence for the benefactor. Finally, it would be blood or life, ultimately death. Benefactor would pay by own blood and life. There, though, would be trail of blood and lost lives along the way. Would it be worth it? I doubt! But in our blind desperation and raw thirst .for illicit benefit, we always feed the latter day dracula with money favour on end forgetting that we would be the final victims of our own actions. We see it everyday as we destroy innocent lives along with ours. This world has enough for all our needs, even want, but hardly enough for our greed.
