Ever notice that the average retirement age of many athletes ( especially professional basketball players ) is between the ages of 35 and 39. Since the body and mind are one, these ages have major significance in us enacting agendas in our lives. Pro athletes in their twenties are aware of their approximate longevity of their careers ( assuming no injury cuts things short ). However, it seems that few people ( including myself ) give ourselves deadlines for acquiring the information base needed to enact a plan of action within our own lives, or collaboratively with others. It is exceedingly dangerous to believe that it is never too late in a universal way. How many people age 90 play pro football ? See ? By all means, I think that if one hasnt acquired a usable knowledge base by 35, by all mean, go for it. However, for one who has been studious about fine tuning one or several areas of expertise, there comes a time where potential energy must be converted to actual energy. I have high standards, but I dont want to stay in the acquiring information age until Im 80 ( assuming I live that long ). I believe the correct attitude is to say I want to know how to do ( fill in the blank ) by age 35 to 39, or older, but if I havent, it will be time to take what I have and build. If people with collective goals have the same approach, it will be easier to coordinate activities that will bring a vision into a tangible reality or force. All money used to be backed up by something. Before doing big things, we need to use our information base to create things that are less than our total intellectual value, because the energy expenditure needed to do so will be in our favor. Only then will we have something to show others that what we know can be made manifest into things that are tangible. If our information base is worth a dollar, we should create or put into motion something that is worth less than a dollar. Then, our claims will be meaningful to others. Having a degree is becoming less meaningful, so this may involve voluntary work, hands on experience, organizing people, or using great writing or oratory to inspire others to think as one. Then, doubt will be circumvented with ease. The aforementioned will be the evidence of things unseen. So deadlines for acquiring wisdom should be honored, and the fruits of doing so will be honored with accomplishment of worthy goals.
