Ever since I retired, one of my goals was to work on the landscaping in the back yard. I have watered the grass and put in flowering plants and have made it look better than it did in the past few years. I also had a pair of 25 year old blooming crepe myrtles that added a lot of color to the yard, that is, until today. CPS sent a tree service company to trim the trees (remember the power outage on Saturday as a result of a raccoon getting into the transformer?) who proceeded to trim the hell out of the crepe myrtles which are no where near the transformer. The nasty hackberry that the raccoon climbed to get to the transformer was trimmed, but not hacked like my beautiful crepe myrtles. I am so mad!!!!! And do you think CPS gives a bleep? Noooo. Neither did the crew that was sent out. I tried explaining to the workers that they were making a mistake. That fell on deaf ears. Seething! Be careful with whom you allow in your yard to take care of your trees!
