Ever since I started riding, I keep reading bikers down every single week. Be it an entry level 250cc or a superbike. Being a rider myself, I emphasize on safety and defensive riding. You cant change the fact the road is dangerous and all you can do is to adapt to it. Expect the unexpected all the time. One thing I notice after almost 2 years of riding, its not the bike or the road that kills, its the rider. When I ride on the road, I put myself into a mode which I called Kiasi (takut mati aka scared to die) mode. It doesnt matter how powerful my bike is, or n others pressure me from behind, I dont give a bloody damn. I ride at my own pace. The road we travelled is a public road and its full of death trap. In track, you can corner as low as you wan or go as fast as you want as you went in lap, round and round and u know the road is safe. But on public road, theres sand, theres oil, there might even be crash just after the bend. Theres no cup waiting for you. So why put your life at risk by pushing ur bike to maximum speed or ride like a mad cow on the road? Brothers, think properly before riding. The road is not a race track. You wont earn respect, only thin you earn by speeding on the road is curse from the public. If you really wana push ur bike to maximum, do it at Sepang or any other track. Its very sad to see one by one bikers down. Come on, if only your brains is as big as your balls. You live only once.
