Ever so often one is touched by the generosity of friends and family, yesterday my friend and fellow artist and neighbor and former worker for Billy Fred Jacksons insulation business, brought me this treasure, just out of the goodness of his heart, Jackie Lea knows that I no longer hunt, but he also knows my love for the beauty of nature and the creativity of man. I hardly have the temerity to place my name besides his as an artist, he is several levels above my poor skills but we do share a certain kinship forged many years ago when we both were young and blessed with a will to work. Jackie takes the wing bone of a turkey and transforms it into a useable, practical device that embodies the word, beautiful! His gift to me is even the more meaningful in that it is a tribute my service in the United States Infantry.
