Ever thought about the seed and the soil? Sometimes, most times, - TopicsExpress

Ever thought about the seed and the soil? Sometimes, most times, the soil isn’t the best place for the seed to be. It’s easier to be in the barn, or silos or any other storage for that matter, than in the soil. But without the soil, he abides alone. So here’s the scenario. The sower goes out to sow and some of the seed falls on rocky ground while others fall on good ground. The conversation between the seed on rock ground and the one buried in good ground might sound something like this: Rocky ground seed: what? How does it feel to be so buried? I’m so glad I’m closer to some fresh air than you are. Good ground seed: yeah it’s pretty tough to be here, but my mum told me that’s how I was born and that to give birth I will have to buried just like she was. A little while later, Rocky ground seed sprouts up and is so excited and Good ground seed still stays buried in the ‘good ground’. At some point good ground seed mutters something like “so much for being in good ground”. While he is at it, rocky ground has become a plant looking beautiful in the sun and might just soon start bearing fruits and good ground seed begins to doubt what mum said. “Did she exaggerate? Did she lie or just not say the whole truth? Well I’m buried already, can’t get out and so I had better make the best of my stay in this place. Guess what! (whispers) The environment good ground seed found himself is all that’s required and, it’s only a matter of time and he is out of the ground with his first buds. Rocky ground seed sees him and laughs at him. “You mean you’re still just a sprout? What?” By this time he is far above the ground. Good ground seed turns away sadly, deciding to focus on his growth and development rather than the taunts of rocky ground seed. Just at the moment, something rather surprising happens. He hears and sees the blowing of a heavy east wind. He is fine. When the wind subsides he turns to check on his friend, Rocky Ground Seed, but he is gone. The east wind got him. All that lives, live the same way. So in your life, there are times when you get the same feelings good ground seed gets but remember, though the soil isnt the most comfortable place, it eventually becomes the place of comfort. #eyesonthegoal
