Ever thought of applying for a State Government Grant, but not - TopicsExpress

Ever thought of applying for a State Government Grant, but not sure how? I was pleased to see that my parliamentary colleague, Minister for Innovation, Services and Small Business Louise Asher recently announced that Victorian businesses and citizens can access information about all Victorian Coalition Government grants through a new consolidated grants portal via vic.gov.au/grants The new portal is easy to navigate and provides visual indicators to show if a grants program is open or closed. You can search a comprehensive catalogue, currently more than 130 grants, or search via key words (such as community, health, regional, education), as well as view recently added grants. Previously Victorians had to look for information regarding grants via a range of websites maintained by different government departments, making them difficult to access. Your Coalition Government has delivered on its election pledge to incorporate grants and government support programs into the new Grants Victoria, a one-stop-shop for information on a single, whole of government website. Grants Victoria will continue to be enhanced to ensure that relevant grants information is easy to access for all Victorians. I am delighted that through the new grants portal, your Coalition Government is taking action to make it easier for Victorian Businesses and citizens to access to government information and services. If you are considering applying for a grant, or are interested in more information, I encourage you to visit the Grants Victoria portal at vic.gov.au/grants
