Ever try watching somebody that seems to know way less than you do wing a video? I watched half of one on U-tube today. Made me think Wouldnt it be funny to make a DIY how-to reality video where everything the show host does is an undetectable but; staged screw-up? Im not talking Tim Allen here. I mean a Rube Goldberg chain of catastrophes that always prevents the goal from being achieved by the end of the episode. Catch it all up off camera and start the next one on schedule but; then just repeat the exercise with a different set of circumstances. Just do all the common stereotypical mistakes that all DIY types have done. There can be no end to them. Be a good show for the sadistic at heart.
