Ever wonder what Tony Romo says in the huddle during games? How about right before the Dallas Cowboys are about to go on a game-winning drive? Well, the NBC show NFL Turning Point allowed fans to get inside the huddle Wednesday night. During the Cowboys’ 27-23 victory over Minnesota last Sunday, Romo was wearing a microphone. Here are some of the highlights of what the Cowboys quarterback had to say before and during the game. Romo talking to backup quarterback Kyle Orton before warming up: “We’re going to miss this game when we’re done playing. I hope it’s not for a while, but it’s a great game. Best game in the world.” Romo to Dez Bryant in the fourth quarter after Bryant dropped his second pass of the day: “Come on! You’re the best player out here. Act like it!” Romo to Terrance Williams after Romo was intercepted on a throw to Williams, who was in single coverage near the Vikings sideline: “As you get older you’re going to realize you’re going to use your arms on this one. When they’re on the outside, the only way to get there is you got to get (expletive) physical. I mean, you just be one bad mother (expletive). It’s like an under. If they don’t move, you go up under and go wham! You know what I mean?” Williams’ response to Romo: “I just didn’t want you to throw a pick.” Romo: “I know. Hey, I didn’t want to, either. It’s alright, though. Good job.” Romo in the huddle right before the Cowboys began their nine-play, 90-yard drive in the final 2:44 of the game: “Hey, let’s be the (expletive) team we’re supposed to be right here. Let’s go win the (expletive) game on this drive. You’re all good enough to do it. Now it’s time to go do it. It’s our time boys. Right now.
