Ever wonder where to find peace, When the whole earth rages & the winds wont cease! Tempest tossed, battered & beat, Your spirits trying to hold on, to keep from defeat! Darkness stoops in like a subtle dust, From out of no where, into this spiritual battle your thrust!! You fear your not strong enough to stand against lifes giants, such as failure, regret & fear, For they always seem so near!! Your thoughts race like theyre running out of time, and you just hope you put face on well enough this time! Your eyes grow dim, and your smiles worn away, just at the closing of this dreadful day! You whispher a pray just as you lie down, Oh God if your there, save me now! Suddenly the panic all dissipates, and you can rest at ease, your finally safe! It was all just an illusion, a falsehood from the start, you had power over these things, from Gods word hidden in your heart! So next time, dont ever take such a blow, to think failure is final and theres no where to go. Remember just as you think the battle is lost, there was the ONE who paid all of the cost! His life was given so we could be free, So call on Jesus, HE WILL ALWAYS HEAR YOUR PLEA!! ( my thoughts for the evening in a poem )
