Ever wonder why some people get defensive or even hostile towards the word of God. When we live our lives in the dark it allows sin to manifest and grow, becoming blind to the truth. We become entangled by what is acceptable by mans standards instead of Gods. It becomes easier to rely on the word of the world rather than the word of The Lord. Thats what the enemy wants. He wants to make the dark comfortable, making us think its ok to play by our own rules, If It feels good Do It life . Sadly its a deception. When darkness is exposed by Gods great light, it literally cant take it. It lashes out because it knows it cant defeat the light. We cant rationalize sin to the light, we cant make excuses for it. The light exposes it for what it is. When the light exposes, it dose so to Transform. Resisting the light of Christ and running from shadow to shadow eventually risks missing out on a life intended for eternity in Gods Kingdom. Dwelling in the dark results living a lonely defeated life here on earth. How sad, We were meant for so much more. And there is way more, but how can we see what that is if we surround ourself in darkness? So the next time you encounter Gods word or even the works of his light through one of his children, I pray that you soften your heart. Ask yourself why is this bothering me so bad? Could it be that something has been exposed? Know that if its been exposed it can be transformed. Whos word are you willing to surrender to? The one limiting you to deception and death or the one that leads you to freedom and LIFE? For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord Romans 6:23 Ephesians 5:13 But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light. John 1:5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness. - John 12:46 Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
