Every 20 seconds, a giggle in India fades out. Save the Children has been constantly fighting the causes of easily preventable diseases that lead to infant mortality. In the last few weeks, the children from various schools across Rajasthan and Bihar have stepped out to spread awareness about the easily preventable diseases and shed some light on India’s progress towards the Millennium Development Goal 4 (MDG4). MDG4 addresses the issue of child mortality and aims at reducing the same by two-third in 2015. The children ran the Race for Survival, to show their commitment towards ending deaths from easily preventable diseases. The events welcomed many Government Officials, Celebrities, Sportsmen and Youth Leaders. Leaving you with the glimpses of the events.
