Every Little Free Library around the country has a steward who is responsible for keeping an eye on the book supply and making sure it is in good condition. We are very fortunate to have several community organizations serving as stewards. However, stewards are not there during all hours of the day. Little Free Libraries are completely open, unattended and free for anyone who may stumble upon them. This means that they also work on an honor system. Little Free Libraries depend on the will of the community to keep them stocked and bring back books after some are taken. Please remember to replace books after they have been read. You dont have to put them where you got them--any of the three locations will be fine. You also can put one of your own books in the library when you take one out. We all have books that we would like to pass on, and this is a great way to do that. Keep reading!!!
