Every Pakistani including minorities fearful of worst law and order due to incompetency of rulers, Ch Parvez Elahi Today every family was effected by dacoity, robbery or other crime, there was no concept of Mob Justice in Islam and law nor this was solution of problems Talk with PML and Minority Wing workers Lahore: 09-11-2014: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi has said every Pakistani including the minorities were fearful of worst law and order situation due to incompetency of the rulers whereas during tenure of our govt in Punjab not only all crime had decreased appreciably but also complete protection was available to the minorities. He said this while talking to PML and Minority Wing workers who came to meet him at his residence here. He said during five years of our govt in Punjab, proper policy was framed for protection of life and property of every Pakistani and it was duly implemented, effective steps were also taken to protect the minorities from the miscreants. Ch Parvez Elahi maintained there was no concept of Mob Justice in Islam, Constitution and law which means that no group of people could decide about an accused being a criminal and punishing him nor this was solution of any problem, in Islam the govt was duty bound to provide complete protection to every citizen without any discrimination of religion, colour and creed and there was a formal system for punishing any accused through judiciary. PML and Minority Wing workers forcefully endorsed when Ch Parvez Elahi said that according to the official facts and figures all sort of crime incidence had increased manifold during the tenure of Shahbaz Sharif as compared to our govt and every citizen particularly the minorities considered themselves unsafe whereas during our tenure between 2002 to 2007 all sorts of crime including heinous crime on highways, rural road, villages and cities had decreased by as much as 60 per cent due to establishment of patrolling posts and provision of most modern equipment to the police besides increasing the salaries but today there was not a single household in any village or city whose one or other family member was not victim of dacoity, theft and way-laying. He said the rulers could not mislead anyone through false promises and advertisements because the people were facing worrisome situation. #
